About Timix.AI

Why we built Timix.AI

Service businesses run on billable hours — and yet most time trackers stop at the timesheet. Hours go in, a spreadsheet comes out, and the questions that decide whether the month was profitable — which client, which project, what budget, what margin — get answered weeks later, if they get answered at all.

Timix.AI was built to close that gap. Every hour your team logs is connected to the customer, project, budget, and margin it belongs to — recorded in a hierarchy that mirrors how you bill, priced with both the rate you charge and the cost behind it, and checked against its budget the moment it's saved.

01 Our convictions

What we believe

Three rules we hold ourselves to — written down so you can hold us to them too.

Tracking should take seconds, not minutes.

If logging time interrupts the work, it gets postponed — and hours that never get logged are revenue that never gets billed. That's why Timix.AI has a persistent timer, a week grid with Copy Last Week, and an AI assistant that turns “log 2 hours on the redesign” into a saved entry.

A budget you see after the overrun is just an invoice for a loss.

Month-end budget reports describe the damage; they don't prevent it. Timix.AI checks budgets as time is entered — threshold alerts you choose plus a hard cap that blocks the overrun, budget health computed from live hours — so the warning arrives while there's still time to act.

Your billing data is yours — export everything.

The hours your team records belong to your firm. Every major report exports to PDF and CSV, billing-ready for the accounting tool you already use — no lock-in, no “contact us to get your data out”.

02 The product, audited

What Timix.AI is today

An honest snapshot of what's live right now — no roadmap padding, no asterisks.

Timix.AI today is a working product, not a pitch. It tracks time in a hierarchy that runs from Customer down to SubTask, models 3 billing types side by side — Time & Materials, Fixed Price, and Overhead — and guards budgets with threshold alerts and a hard cap. Its report pages all export to PDF and CSV. Timix.AI logs time and answers questions in plain language. And one login can carry several organizations, each with its own roles, rates, and isolated data.

It runs on Google Cloud, with each organization's data kept isolated and role-based access — Owner, Admin, Finance, Manager, Member, Viewer — enforced on every request.

Where we're headed: we'd rather ship steadily than promise loudly. Everything we build next answers the same question as everything we've built so far — does it help a service business account for every billable hour?
