Engineers jump between tickets, sprints, and SOWs all day. If reporting time across different projects is hard, it gets done badly on Friday — from memory — or not at all. Every forgotten hour on a T&M contract is revenue you already paid salaries for.

Auto-SubTask creation: if a task has no subtasks, Timix.AI creates one — structure never blocks an engineer logging time.
Run a support retainer on Time & Materials next to a fixed-price build in the same client tree. T&M computes hours times rate; Fixed Price tracks the contract amount against cost; Overhead (OVH) keeps internal work out of the billable numbers.
